Sipera Systems and NACR Secure Enterprise Unified Communications

Sipera Systems, a provider of real-time Unified Communications (UC) enablement and security, has partnered with NACR (North American Communications Resource, Inc.), a provider of comprehensive communications solutions. Working together, Sipera and NACR provide enterprises with comprehensively secured UC systems, including the ability to secure a variety of smartphones.

"With more and more enterprises deploying UC networks, applications, and devices including smartphones, it's critical to secure and protect all network traffic, communications, devices and users. NACR's UC expertise ensures we can jointly provide customized, cost efficient, comprehensively secured UC systems," says Dean Roth, VP of Sales North America & Business Development Officer for Sipera. "This allows enterprises to reap the benefits of real-time UC, protect sensitive business communications, and satisfy industry security and privacy mandates including HIPAA, PCI DSS, and others."

"Our enterprise customers are eager to adopt UC systems and collaborative applications including VoIP, IM and IP video, but they are also aware that these communications must be secured," says Gina Odean, Director of Converged Solutions with NACR. "Working with Sipera, we can apply comprehensive UC and smartphone security solutions that deliver peace of mind, do not interrupt real-time communications, and extend enterprise security protocols across UC infrastructures down to any end point."

As one of the largest Avaya channel partner worldwide, NACR is a leading provider of end-to-end communications solutions, delivering comprehensive sales, consultative, and technical support, as well as managed services, maintenance, and repairs. NACR also has extensive Nortel certifications and is authorized to sell Nortel Enterprise Solutions (NES) in addition to the full line of Avaya products and services.

Sipera's UC-Sec appliances proactively address security risks associated with UC applications such as VoIP, instant messaging, IP video and collaboration tools, enabling government agencies and enterprise customers to adopt UC applications and apply comprehensive security. Sipera's "Borderless UC" architecture enables all communications to be encrypted and compliant on any UC device, at any internal and external location.
