The annual Review & Outlook is VSR’s most popular issue, because it gives our readers the opportunity to speak their minds about the Channel, technology, and the direction the industry is taking. This year, we asked the straightforward question: “What is the biggest change you expect to see in the Channel in 2012?”

The answers, however, were not so simple. More than a hundred solution providers and Channel leaders responded with outlooks and viewpoints ranging from introspective business analysis to enthusiastic predictions about new tech trends. The one common thread through the majority of the responses is a sense of optimism—a feeling that the new year will be full of innovation and new solutions.
