ViewSonic Unveils Windows 8 Certified Touch Displays

ViewSonic (www.ViewSonic.com) announced its Windows 8 certified TD 40 Series, including the 23” TD2340, 27” TD2740 and 32” TD3240.

The TD 40 family features Professional Grade IPS panels with 1920×1080 full HD resolution and 20,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio for stunning picture and color performance. Connectivity inputs incldude DisplayPort, HDMI and VGA, along with full USB HID compliance and VESA mount compatibility.

The 23” TD2340 features an ergonomic design with dual hinge stand capable of 4-way adjustability, enabling the monitor to pivot or even lay flat. The 27” TD2740 model includes a unique picture frame stand which also allows this model to be laid flat for easier ergonomic usage. Additionally, the TD2740 offers an integrated webcam to deliver maximum opportunity for interactivity. For commercial applications, the TD3240, with optional stand, provides hospitality and retail sectors an interactive, versatile information kiosk-like signage solution. The screen with 7H surface hardness ensures high durability and touch accuracy, even in high traffic environments. All three models include integrated SRS Premium Sound® speakers and Energy Star and EPEAT Silver certifications to complete the immersive multimedia touch display package.

The TD 40 Series will be available in North and Latin America. The TD2340 will be available in January, the TD3240 in February and the TD2740 in April, for respective ESPs of $599, $2,499 and $799.
