Chief Executive Officer of pcAmerica
David Gosman became Chief Executive Officer of pcAmerica in 2004 with his main responsibilities encompassing business development, sales and marketing tactics and formulation of new ideas for product development and enhancement. Prior to being a co-owner of pcAmerica, David was their lead software developer and project manager, responsible for the development of pcAmerica's Cash Register Express retail POS and Restaurant Pro Express restaurant POS software products. He is on the editorial advisory board of Vertical Systems Reseller magazine and frequently contributes editorial covering a variety of point of sale related topics.
Under the direction of both David and his business partner, Richard Rotbard, the company has grown tremendously in size and scale over the past five years and received several awards including several # 1 ratings for restaurant POS software from Hospitality Technology Magazine, and the Epson Pioneer Award for development of a forward-thinking solution that met the unique needs of their clients. pcAmerica is a highly regarded and certified partner of ELO, Honeywell, HP, Epson, Dell and other leading POS hardware companies.
David carries a BS in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Albany, where he also taught and tutored several students and participated in research on cryptology. He lives with his wife and children in New City, NY and loves both grilling his own recipes, and traveling whenever and wherever he gets the chance.
